About me

I am working on the GHz/MHz radio frequency physics and design of particle accelerator cavities for the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) project at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). From August 2021 to May 2024, I worked in Richard Temkin's group at the Plasma Science and Fusion Center (PSFC) at MIT. There, I studied THz gyrotron amplifiers, laser-driven semiconductor switches for THz resonator rings, and the design of THz coupling in the Zirconia probe for Dynamic Nuclear Polarization-Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (DNP-NMR). In August 2021, I completed my PhD in Lyubov Titova's group at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where I focused on photoinduced carrier dynamics in 2D materials (MXenes) and solar energy materials using time-resolved terahertz spectroscopy. Outside of the lab, I enjoy playing basketball, biking, and swimming. I also occasionally shoot with a film camera.
